Journalism students study and apply effective communication skills through instruction from professors with experience in the industry, participation in the University's online student news source GWU Today, and reality-based education during a professional media internship. Courses develop an understanding of the rights and responsibilities of the press, a grasp of information gathering and reporting, and a mastery of writing and editing processes for print and digital media.
Submit all transcripts of foreign college, GPA -- 3.72 grade point average, Test Scores of SAT -- 1015 and ACT -- Composite score of 22, Submit results of Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP). A minimum score of 500 (paper) or 173 (computer-based) is required for the TOEFL.
