On December 2, 1905, the Boiling Springs High School was chartered as a result of an initiative sponsored by the Kings Mountain Baptist Association. J.D Huggins was made the High School’s first principal on July 25, 1907. Boiling Springs High School mainly focused on Christian education, as evident in the School’s motto, Pro Deo et Humanitate.
