Beyond the classroom, you'll develop your own research projects under faculty supervision and gain real-world experience in programs like Active Minds, an advocacy group that provides mental health education. You can also put your knowledge to practice as an intern working with at-risk children, domestic victim advocacy, substance abuse prevention and other social service agencies. Whether your goal is a master's degree or starting a career immediately after college, you'll gain the fundamental psychology education you need to pursue a variety of meaningful careers.
