The UTHSC Dental Hygiene program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
High school cumulative GPA of 3.5 and composite score of 25 on the ACT or 1220 (equivalent to 1150 on old exam) on the SAT. US universities use a holistic admissions review. Veterinary Medicine is also commonly a graduate-entry pathway. Therefore, high-school applicants normally shortlist an undergraduate major such as Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences or another suitable subject rather than applying directly to Medicine or Dentistry.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
