Program Overview

The HPHP B.S. degree prepares students for fitness positions in wellness facilities, general fitness facilities, as well as for graduate education in many medical and coaching-related fields Physician s Assistant, Physical Therapy, Athletic Training and Strength and Conditioning. The curriculum includes a strong foundation in math, basic sciences and exercise sciences. Students also receive instruction in sport psychology, strength and conditioning, clinical exercise testing, exercise prescription and fitness program administration. Specialized classes include Kinesiology, Cardiopulmonary Assessment and Exercise Physiology for Special Populations.
