BS Health Professions

4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Queens College

Program Overview

Although Queens College does not offer degrees in the health professions, many students plan to go on for graduate-level study in medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatry, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine. Other options include nursing and its specialties, occupational and physical therapy, and physician assistants. To become a practitioner in any health profession, a student applies for admission to an accredited medical or professional school. Interested students should seek assistance from the college's Office of Health Professions Advisory Services (HPAS) during their freshman year and at least once each semester. HPAS can advise them on their curriculum, progress, and professional goals. It also can help with recommendation letters to professional schools.
