Program Overview

Students who are contemplating a career in any of the health-related professions should consult with the Office of Health Professions Advisory Services (HPAS) as early as possible during their freshman year. The HPAS office and the related Committe on Health professions offer help with academic and career planning, provide guidance to students applying to professional schools, and prepare the evaluation letters required by those schools. Pre-health students may choose a science or non-science major, but must include the special science curriculum required for admission to medical schools.
