A special program is available to assist students in achieving their professional goals by offering a structured advising program that will provide the solid foundation needed for further study in the medical professions. Enrollment in the Premedical Professions Advising program is strongly recommended because it will optimize the chances of successful entrance into a professional school. Students can enter this program in two ways: either by demonstrating outstanding academic performance in secondary school or through outstanding performance in the first semester at the University of Hartford.

Completed High School with a score of 70% (out of 100), IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL ibT of 80, Pearsons of 58, Letters of Recommendation, GCSE or GCE English Pass (syllabus A) with grade of A, B or C, Mathematics, Natural/Physical Science and Social Science, GPA of 2.75 (out of 4.0), IB English A1 or A2 with grade of 3 or higher, Academic Records and transcripts, IB English A1 or A2 with grade of 3 or higher, SAT Evidence based reading / writing 480 or higher.
