The School of Nursing has four different career pathways in the area of nursing. The first pathway is the baccalaureate degree for those of you who want to become registered nurses. Registered nurses work in hospitals, clinics, schools, health departments, and industrial settings. The Murray State BSN program is known for its intense practicum at the end of the senior year and the pediatric rotation in Memphis at St. Jude Children s Research Hospital. This degree is planned to take four years.
