Program Overview

A bachelor of science in nursing degree prepares students to practice across all types of health care settings. A BSN provides the greatest opportunity for advancement in the nursing field. A BSN is also required for entry into most graduate nursing programs including nurse practitioner, certified nurse anesthetist, nursing educator, or nurse researcher. Students interested in the BSN would first need to complete the ASN program. Acceptance into the ASN program is by a competitive, point-based application process.
