Program Overview

The Department of Biological Sciences offers a four-year program leading to acceptance in physical therapy programs at the University of Kentucky, Western Kentucky University and Bellarmine University. The students have also used Murray State preparation to attend Baylor, Ohio State, and the University of Illinois, just to name some of the additional schools. Physical therapists participate in the evaluation and treatment of patients with various health problems affecting their physical responses. They receive referrals from licensed physicians and maintain contact with them. Students in the physical therapy program are required to have some experience as an aide or volunteer in addition to meeting basic course requirements.

High School Diploma OR Graduation Certificate, Transcripts for all years of high school with a minimum GPA of 2.0, Minimum SAT score of 910 with minimum of 450 on Reading section, Degree from a secondary school located in a country where English is the native language, British / Cambridge International Examinations: GCE, GCSE, IGCSE, AICE, or the HIGCSE certificate with five O-Level subject passes, TOEFL ibT of 71 minimum on Academic Test with no band less than 16, IELTS 6.0 minimum on Academic Test with no band less than 5.0
