BS Public Health

4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

SUNY Brockport

Program Overview

Public health is the science of protecting and improving the health of people and their communities. In this field, we strive to promote healthy lifestyles, research disease and injury prevention, and detect, prevent and respond to infectious diseases.

Public health professionals work to protect the health of entire populations. These populations can be as small as a local neighborhood, or as big as an entire country or region of the world.

Our graduates work in diverse settings — from hospitals and health care systems, to school and workplace health programs, to community and social service organizations.
