As a global health studies student, you'll learn about related global health phenomena, such as infectious and chronic diseases, nutrition, changing demographics, public health and health care systems, climate change, natural disasters and their impact on health, environmental and sustainability issues, advances in medical and biomedical technologies, and the relationship between human rights and health. You also will explore international health careers.The program is interdisciplinary and provides an institutional focus in which students and faculty from across campus can meet on the common ground of shared interests in global health.The Global Health Studies Program offers a certificate and a minor, both of which combine well with a variety of majors and disciplines.
