Program Overview

As an advanced program, residents must complete an initial training year in another specialty, typically either preliminary medicine, preliminary surgery, or transitional internship all of which are available at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Resident train throughout the UTHSC system including the Methodist Hospital system, Le Bonheur Children s Hospital, Regional One Health, Memphis VA Center, and St. Jude Children s Research Hospital.
