Program Overview

In the Recreation Management BS Outdoor Experiential Education degree, students are trained on the foundational theories and philosophies of experiential education; learn and practice teaching basic leadership, wilderness, adventure, and safety skills; understand and develop a sound trip plan and risk management plans; understand individual and group dynamics as it relates to leadership; understand and practice sound problem solving, decision making, and judgment skills; and understand and practice a variety of leadership, teaching and facilitation skills.

Complete online application, Official high school/secondary school transcripts and academic records verifying successful completion of secondary education, Official college transcripts, Official test scores minimum TOEFL score is 75 on the IBT with at least 16 on each individual section but preference is given to students with 85 and higher, minimum IELTS score is 5.5 on the IELTS, but preference is given to students with 6.0 and higher, SAT Reading and math without the writing, ACT Composite, copy of visa, a copy of passport, and a financial statement
