The University of Hartford Philosophy Department is committed to the following principles: Relevance to human life. Philosophy has a place in the University curriculum precisely because it makes a difference. Methodologically, it promotes clear, systematic thinking. Ethically, it emphasizes the importance of taking responsibility for one's views and of carrying on respectful dialogue with those who disagree with us. Most importantly, it helps satisfy the human need for understanding and the constructive use of intelligence and imagination.

Completed High School with a score of 70% (out of 100), IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL ibT of 80, Pearsons of 58, Letters of Recommendation, GCSE or GCE English Pass (syllabus A) with grade of A, B or C, Mathematics, Natural/Physical Science and Social Science, GPA of 2.75 (out of 4.0), IB English A1 or A2 with grade of 3 or higher, Academic Records and transcripts, IB English A1 or A2 with grade of 3 or higher, SAT Evidence based reading / writing 480 or higher.
