The community justice program is the first of its kind in the nation, offering a unique pairing between the Department of Criminal Justice and Department of Anthropology.

By marrying these two fields, our students aim to understand not only the processes of the justice system, but also the history, ethics, and societal institutions that made it what it is today.

Graduates of the community justice program may go on to become:Environmental lawyers, Law enforcement, Nonprofit coordinators, Community service managers, Forensic specialists
