Program Overview

The Youth Advocacy minor and concentration provides students with interdisciplinary perspectives on the conditions for youth in communities as well as the societal and political factors which may contribute to the ways in which communities can respond to youth needs. The minor will allow students to gain an understanding of best practices in positive youth development as well as develop a skill set for working in a variety of setting with children and adolescents.

Completed application either the Common Application or Curry's own Application with a non-refundable fee of $50.00, An official high school transcript, translated and evaluated, and if applicable, official GSCE examination scores, A letter of recommendation from guidance counselor or high school teacher, The recommendation may be submitted on a separate sheet or attached letter, A college essay of at least 250 words, English Language requirements:TOEFL: must be 80 or higher, IELTS: must be a 6.0 or higher
