Program Overview

Students desiring the Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry must take two years (four semester classes) of a foreign language. No foreign language is required for students seeking a Bachelor of Science degree; however, the study of German or Russian will be helpful to students seeking a career in research. High School Diploma OR Graduation Certificate, Transcripts for all years of high school with a minimum GPA of 2.0, Minimum SAT score of 910 with minimum of 450 on Reading section, Degree from a secondary school located in a country where English is the native language, British / Cambridge International Examinations: GCE, GCSE, IGCSE, AICE, or the HIGCSE certificate with five O-Level subject passes, TOEFL ibT of 71 minimum on Academic Test with no band less than 16, IELTS 6.0 minimum on Academic Test with no band less than 5.0
