UMass Lowell's Department of Physics has a great undergraduate program that results in a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Options in the major include: Physics & Applied Physics, Radiological Science Program and Radiological Health Physics Option. The physics program is designed to introduce the student to both fundamental and applied aspects of physics leading to a wide range of career options after graduation.

Research, science fairs, Olympiads, laboratory exposure, independent investigation and environmental or community-science projects can demonstrate scientific curiosity and analytical thinking.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
