The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders seeks to advance the study of human communication sciences and disorders within a culturally and linguistically diverse society. Intellectual growth is promoted through the recognition and expression of multiple theoretical, cultural and individual perspectives. The Department fosters respect for diversity and a commitment to serve individuals with communication problems.
