Criminology in Manhattan college

Criminology is an interdisciplinary field in behavioral and social sciences and the humanities. The study of criminology is informed by the disciplines of sociology, psychology, anthropology, economics, statistics, and social service. This major is designed for students interested in studying crime and criminal behavior and working in criminal justice or public service or attending graduate or professional schools will find this major of interest.

• GPA of 3.4 out of (4.0 score)
• An official secondary/high school transcript indicating courses completed and grades.
• TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.5 overall.
• One letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor is required. You may submit up to three academic letters. You are also permitted to submit an additional character reference.
• A brief personal statement or college essay, using either the Manhattan College essay topic or one of the Common Application essay topics. This essay should be roughly 500 words.
