Program Overview

Discover Earth's landscapes, inhabitants and environments. You'll be introduced to physical geography and geospatial foundations through the major and investigate the geography of different regions all around the world. Five minors are also offered to expand your education in a particular area of interest. Applying your studies to practice, you'll also learn different field methods---how to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage and present all types of spatial or geographical data in your geographic information systems courses. The major leads to new opportunities in a variety of positions in both the public and private sectors.
