The Psychology Department at AIC prepares students to understand the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and historical trends in psychology.By educating students in the liberal arts tradition, we help students use their knowledge of the practical aspects of psychology to solve problems of human behavior, be responsive to community needs, and develop an awareness of the role science and the human mind play in our everyday lives.
