The general objective of the psychology program is to prepare students for professional training in the field of psychology by providing an overview of the essential methods and findings of experimental, clinical, and theoretical psychology. The primary theoretical orientation of the program is behavioral although students will be exposed to multiple theoretical orientations. The scientist-practitioner model is emphasized in applied courses. Opportunities are provided for both human and non-human experimental research through environmental manipulation.
Application At least a 2.0 grade-point average and either a composite ACT score of 18 or a combined SAT score of 960. Applicants must provide official copies of academic records from all secondary, pre-university programs, and colleges/universities attended. TOEFL iBT: 60 or IELTS 6.0 overall.
