The Substance Use Counseling minor and concentration is open to any student interested in a career in substance abuse services or in an area where an understanding of substance use is an important aspect of job performance, such as nursing and health care, social work and psychology, law enforcement and criminal justice, or college counseling and youth services. This program is also relevant for students planning to pursue graduate studies in the social and behavioral sciences, as well as, professional degrees in law, social work, nursing, and criminal justice.

Completed application either the Common Application or Curry's own Application with a non-refundable fee of $50.00, An official high school transcript, translated and evaluated, and if applicable, official GSCE examination scores, A letter of recommendation from guidance counselor or high school teacher, The recommendation may be submitted on a separate sheet or attached letter, A college essay of at least 250 words, English Language requirements:TOEFL: must be 80 or higher, IELTS: must be a 6.0 or higher
