This is a concentration within our Agricultural and Consumer Economics major. Our program is designed for students interested in governance and law. In this major, you'll analyze the impact of policies and social programs. You'll study the legal and institutional structures in which policies are developed. Students will also consider the special circumstances of public policy and law. These include policies relating to the environment, the agricultural and food sector, consumers, and international relations. With this degree, you’ll gain an understanding of the U.S. institutions that make and implement policies. You can apply directly into this concentration.
