Coursework includes general education courses, as well as a wide range of Sociology courses. Sociology majors must complete an internship in their junior or senior year. Sociology majors are encouraged to complete a minor and/or develop a specific area of interest, such as legal studies, woman and gender issues or health promotion. A minimum grade of "C" is required in most Sociology courses.
