Performance is emphasized in the Dance Program at San Jose State University, and dance majors are eligible to perform in their freshman year. The program presents at least three separate, fully-produced student concerts annually, providing ample performance opportunities. Two student companies also offer a more advanced scale of work by professional choreographers.
