Program Overview

The B.F.A. curriculum exposes students to a full range of aesthetic and intellectual pedagogy. Students are encouraged to develop a personal style, insight, and understanding of the nature of the materials they choose to work with: oil, acrylic paint, and other aqueous media. Courses include but are not limited to drawing, figure painting, painting materials & techniques, contemporary art, and several studio electives. Students present an exhibition before graduation that demonstrates their achievement in developing a mature and cohesive body of work.

International Application for Undergraduate Admission, High School Transcripts (secondary school), College Transcripts from each institution attended during high school, Test scores: SAT, ACT, TOEFL score of at least 213 on the computer-based exam, or a 550 paper based score, or an 80 on the internet based, A band score of 6.5 in IELTS, Letter of Recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor, a School/Counselor Evaluation Letter.
