University of North TexasThe undergraduate Communication Design program graduates effective conceptual thinkers and creative problem-solvers in the areas of Graphic Design and User-Experience Design. In both concentrations, students begin by learning to use the basic elements and principles of design and apply design thinking and design process to learn concepts, technology, image-making, color theory, typography, user analysis and client needs, wireframing and prototyping as students create wide and diverse visual means of communication.
High school GPA of 3.0/4.0 (US grading scale), Interview with Admissions Representative, Test scores: TOEFL minimum required score of 79, IELTS minimum required score of 6.0 overall band. One letter of recommendation is requested. Statement required. SAT - 1500 out of 2400, ACT - 18 English, 22 Reading, 22 Mathematics and 23 Science.
