University of North Texas sponsored fifteen athletic teams that compete at the intercollegiate level of NCAA DIVISON I- for men; football; for men and women; basketball, track & field, cross country, and golf; for women only: Diving, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, and Volleyball. University of North Texas (UNT) has been a member of Conference USA for 9 years.

The University of North Texas team has won 24 conference championships, with the last four occurring from 2001 to 2004 in the Sun Belt Conference. The North Texas men’s basketball team won the 2006-07 Sun Belt Conference championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. The season marked the beginning of four consecutive seasons of 20-plus wins.

1. Adam Grace Rugby Memorial Scholarship

The Adam Grace Rugby Memorial Scholarship is awarded to the full time undergraduate students pursuing studies at University of North Texas. The scholarship is awarded by the Student Financial Aid & Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:

- Should be an undergraduate student pursuing studies at the university.
- Should have minimum GPA of 3.25
- Should have minimum Total Credit Hours of 12 at UNT.

Note: Should be an active member in good standing of the UNT Rugby Club and must have played intramural rugby at UNT for at least one semester.
