University of North TexasThe New Media Art concentration in Studio Art is an interdisciplinary and collaborative program that focuses on the human relationship with technology, as an emergent tool for creating contemporary art. This practice is rooted in the historical traditions of avant-garde and experimental art-making and responds to the rapid pace of technological development. Areas of study in New Media Art include experimental filmmaking, generative art, digital fabrication, performance, virtual and augmented reality and experimental sound.
High school GPA of 3.0/4.0 (US grading scale), Interview with Admissions Representative, Test scores: TOEFL minimum required score of 79, IELTS minimum required score of 6.0 overall band.
