Program Overview

Must be able to provide women with the necessary supervision, care and guidance during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, attend births on their own responsibility and care for the newborn and the infant. This care includes preventive measures, the detection of abnormal conditions in the mother and the child, the provision of medical assistance and the adoption of emergency measures in the absence of medical assistance.
