Program Overview

The First year, University Transfer, Engineering Certificate is offered to provide students with the opportunity to explore options and demonstrate success at the first year level of university studies. Students will gain transfer credits to the second year of the SFU Engineering science degree programs. It will prepare them for university or other post-secondary programs of their choice. Students who have completed all program requirements must contact the Registrar s Office to apply for graduation.

Grade 12 graduation or equivalent; English 12 with a C+ or greater or English Language Proficiency, or equivalent; Precalculus 12 with a B;Physics 12 with a C+, or VCC Physics 0983/0993, or equivalent; official transcripts, Proof of English Proficiency IELTS- 6.5 score, TOEFL- 84 score.
