UFV's Early Modern Studies is a 17- to 19-credit interdisciplinary certificate designed for those who wish to gain key historical insights to help them better understand the intricacy of today's societies.Study the early modern era (roughly 1350 to 1789) and explore the birth of the modern world through four additional courses from disciplines such as art history, history, philosophy, political science, and theatre. The Early Modern Studies certificate is a valuable credential to add to your r sum if you are teaching in a connected discipline, planning graduate studies in a related field, or if your work requires impeccable written and/or visual communication skills.You may complete the Early Modern Studies certificate while pursuing another program or you may be admitted directly, provided that you meet the course prerequisites.
