This program is designed to provide students with the core knowledge, skills and abilities fundamental to academic success in health sciences and other high affinity programs at the diploma, advanced diploma or degree level. Students will develop their knowledge and skills in communication, mathematics, human anatomy, biology, physics and organic/inorganic chemistry so they are well-prepared for the rigours of their next academic program.
High School Diploma and transcripts,Ontario Secondary School diploma with OR Mature Student Status (an applicant lacking the formal minimum admission requirements may be admitted through the mature student application process. Mature Student applicants may be referred to College Counseling for academic testing and a recommendation from the Counselor to the Registrar for consideration in their admission. Mature applicants must still submit their high school transcripts and may also be asked for a Resume). 79-80 for the Internet-based test (iBT) or IELTS score of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5.
Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be eligible to apply for admission to the first year of a health and/or science-related advanced diploma or degree program at an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology and to many health or science related degree programs at Ontario universities.
