This course is designed to develop the knowledge and understanding of the role of the dental care professional in caring for the child patient in a team model of care. It is designed to enhance your approaches to learning and help you to become an investigative learner who is able to critically appraise the evidence-base relating to the treatment of oral disease in the child patient, to inform and reflect upon your own clinical practice.Through reflection in a clinical setting, you will investigate the outcomes of different approaches to treatment that will benefit all patients in your care. You will investigate the cause of disease, prevention, and how the dental team approaches treatment.

A relevant degree such as an ordinary or honours degree in oral health science, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDA), MChD or BChD Dental Surgery, or Diploma in Dental Therapy,You must also be working in a clinical setting or have worked clinically within the last 2 years
