You must have valid registration on your professional register, maintained by the Nursing and,Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health Care Professions Council (HCPC),A minimum of three years' post-registration experience relevant to the practice in which you will be prescribing is also required. Of these three years, the year immediately preceding application to the programme must have been in the clinical field in which you intend to practice prescribing,You must also provide written confirmation prior to programme commencement, from a designated medical practitioner (DMP), of an agreement to provide opportunities to develop competencies in prescribing during the required term of supervised practice. A DMP is a practitioner who meets the eligibility criteria described by the National Prescribing Centre,You must provide evidence of your current PVG clearance in order to undertake this course,You will be required to provide evidence of your ability to study at degree level (minimum SCQF level 9),All applicants must have employer confirmation of support prior to applying for the programme
