Online application for admission. Official copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts from each institution attended with all degrees posted. The applicant shall hold a valid classroom teaching certificate. The applicant must satisfactorily complete the state curriculum examination for School Counselor Certificate. All course work must be completed at the graduate level. For recommendation by the University of Central Oklahoma, the last nine semester hours of course work must be completed at the University of Central Oklahoma. For recommendation for certification applicants must not have more than six hours of C in specialized coursework. Applicants must successfully complete all portfolio requirements as designated by the program. Copy of passport. Statement of Financial Sponsorship. Proof of English Proficiency: TOEFL - 79 IBT or 550 PBT; IELTS - 6.5 overall band; Duolingo English Test - 105; Transcripts showing undergraduate degree was completed from an accredited university or college within the United States or from a UCO-approved native English-speaking country.
