Portland State's certificate in communication sciences and disorders the first of its kind in the Pacific Northwest helps prepare you for a career in speech-language pathology or audiology.certificate has been developed to help post-baccalaureate students who wish to pursue a career in speech-language pathology or audiology but have an undergraduate degree in another field, or other undergraduate students who are interested in fields such as psychology, education, and special education but want a solid foundation in communication sciences and disorders.
Have completed secondary school or high school, Education must be equivalent to United States secondary school or high school education, have a cumulative grade point average GPA of at least 2.5 when converted to the U.S. 4.0 grading scale, Submit Your Application, submit high school transcripts, grades and other relevant academic records along with your graduation certificate, English Language requirement:TOEFL IBT: minimum overall score of 71; minimum subscore of 15 in reading and writing, Academic IELTS:6.0 overall; minimum 6.0 in reading and writing, Academic PTE: 53 overall, SAT: 560 or above in the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section, DET Duolingo English Test: 110 or above
