University of Missouri Kansas CityThe Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics (DBHI) at the School of Medicine (SOM) offers a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research. The Graduate Certificate is a valuable credential for health care professionals who want exposure to the fundamentals of clinical research methods and applications. Junior faculty, clinical fellows, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, clinical research coordinators, and other health professionals will advance their research careers and become more discriminate consumers of research upon completion of this program.
Applicants for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research must have earned, or will soon earn, a baccalaureate degree from a nationally accredited college or university.It is preferred that applicants have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. It is preferred that baccalaureate degrees be in a scientific discipline, or that the applicant holds a health-related professional degree.
