This two-year Ontario College Diploma program provides students with the theoretical and practical skills required to work as administrative professionals in the public or private sector. Students develop knowledge and skills related to formatting and preparation of office documentation, Canadian business and legal concepts and executive office procedures. Emphasis is on the practical demands of the job: organizing activities, preparing professional documents, interacting with the workforce, meeting deadlines, prioritizing activities, working under pressure, accepting responsibility and demonstrating initiative.
Official transcripts, Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent or Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) certificate or General Educational Development (GED) certificate, English: Grade 12 or equivalent with a grade of 70% or higher, IELTS-5.5, TOEFL-IBT: 80 (with the minimum of 20 in each component: Reading 20; Listening: 20; Speaking: 20; Writing: 20)
Graduates may find employment in administrative fields within the private and public sectors (corporations, small or medium size businesses, government, institutions and associations) such as financial, legal, business or personnel administration
