Sheridan s two-year Educational Support diploma program prepares you to work in a school setting supporting students with special needs. This program will equip you with the skills you need to support students with a range of special needs. ou'll use modified curricula and materials, including assistive technology, to accommodate their diverse strengths and developmental needs, and you'll learn to maintain a safe and professional environment that promotes students' well being.
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses: One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U). TOEFL iBT 80 (20L,W,S,R), IELTS 6 Overall Band Score with no Band below 5.5.
When you complete your Educational Support diploma program, you'll be ready to seek employment in a public or private school supporting learners with special needs, or in a social-or health-based program with a special education component.
