This is a co-operative education program. Students are required to complete at least one co-op work placement (CWR100) in order to graduate. Sault College`s Culinary Management program teaches you everything you need to know to develop a career as a Chef. Food demonstrations, lab work and lectures provide a dynamic learning environment.
High School Diploma and transcripts,Ontario Secondary School diploma with Grade 12 English (ENG4C) and Grade 11 Math (MBF3C), OR Mature Student Status (an applicant lacking the formal minimum admission requirements may be admitted through the mature student application process. Mature Student applicants may be referred to College Counselling for academic testing and a recommendation from the Counsellor to the Registrar for consideration in their admission. Mature applicants must still submit their high school transcripts and may also be asked for a Resume). 79-80 for the Internet-based test (iBT) or IELTS score of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5.
Graduates of the Culinary Management program may find employment in resorts, hotels, restaurants, health care facilities, cruise lines, catering services, private clubs and industrial kitchens.
