Police foundations in Sault college

Provides students with the skills and knowledge required for an entry level position in policing. Deals with the development, purpose and operation of the legal system, law enforcement and prosecution procedures.

High School Diploma and transcripts, Ontario Secondary School diploma with Grade 12 English (ENG4C) OR Mature Student Status (an applicant lacking the formal minimum admission requirements may be admitted through the mature student application process. Mature student applicants may be referred to College Counseling for academic testing and a recommendation from the Counselor to the Registrar for consideration in their admission. Mature applicants must still submit their high school transcriptsand may also be asked for a Resume). 79-80 for the Internet-based test (iBT) or IELTS score of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5.

Graduates may find employment with municipal and provincial police forces, the RCMP, private and industrial security, customs, military police of the federal and provincial enforcement agencies.
