The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism is the first of its kind in Western Canada providing students with existing baccalaureate degrees from an accredited university in behaviour analysis or other natural sciences, education, human services, engineering, medicine or a field related to behaviour analysis and approved by the BACB, the opportunity to obtain an additional credential that would enable them to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The coursework and experiental component of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism would qualify students to write the professional certification exam of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and then become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
Completion of a recognized bachelor degree in Arts or Sciences; letter of interest; letter of reference; interview; documentation of a minimum of 300 hours of experience as a behaviour interventionist prior to the start of the program in September (contact the ABA-A program coordinator for assistance in obtaining work/volunteer experience).
