Earn a personalized Visual Arts diploma, built to your interests as a future creative professional.In your first year, you lay the groundwork for building core artistic skills. Through study in drawing, material process, and space, form and time, you build a repertoire of techniques and experience that prepares you for more advanced course work.You can build your studies to suit your desired skills, choosing from a curated array of courses in six studio disciplines.In your second year, you grow your command of art history through the critical study of modern and contemporary pieces ranging from Indigenous art to Renaissanceclassics.Noo matter what discipline you choose to study, well-designed studios, dynamic faculty, and a dedicated community network make UFV Fine Arts a highly supportive environment for studying the creative arts.

Additional Information & Requirements

B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent, or minimum 19 years of age before the first day of classes.Portfolio review. An interview may be requested. Attendance at a program orientation is a required element of the portfolio review process.Students with university-level credit must have a grade point average of 2.00 on all credits attempted. Transcripts must be submitted to substantiate this.
