The entry requirements for this course are a degree from a UK Higher Education Institution, or degree of an equivalent standard from an institution outside the UKThe degree should be in the subject to be taught and contain at least two graduating courses (80 credits) in the relevant subject. A minimum of 40 credits should be from Year 2 of studyOrdinary Degrees are also acceptableWe also require SQA Higher English at Grade C or equivalent as well as SQA National 5 Mathematics or SQA National 5 Applications of Mathematics at grade C or equivalentPlease note you will also be expected to attend an interviewCandidates must have a degree which contains at least 80 credits in Physics. A range of the following subjects are acceptable: Electricity and Magnetism, Electronics, Optics, Mechanics, Dynamics, Nuclear and Atomic PhysicsGeneral science degrees are usually NOT acceptable unless there are specific Physics modules in Year 2 and above totaling 80 credits or moreIELTS 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in each component)You will need to complete a DBS check as part of the application processFor India: You will be eligible to apply if you have gained a bachelors degree with overall grade of 55% or aboveFor USA: a minimum GPA of 2.7 or aboveSecondary Physics and Science Teacher
