Graduates of this degree are prepared for careers as engineers or environmental scientists, equipped to bring engineering together with social and natural sciences to find solutions for complex environmental issues such as climate change. With a strong practical focus, students develop knowledge and skills in the planning, design, management, construction and maintenance of engineering projects as well as a solid foundation in biological, physical, social sciences and critical analysis skills. An embedded industry experience prepares final-year students for entry to the workforce.
